10 Back-to-School Power Breakfasts
By Christine Climer
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day for growing
school children. It provides the necessary brain and body power
to make it through the first half of the day. Children who start
out each school day with a good breakfast perform better academically
and have fewer behavior problems.
Give these fast, fun breakfasts a try — and don’t
forget to set a good example by eating a healthy breakfast yourself!
1. Whole-grain banana muffins with cream cheese spread
2. Apple slices and a breakfast pizza (English muffin topped
