Dr.
Morchower has been in practice for over 30 years. This take-along
book assures parents that it’s okay to ask questions and
be in control. Within each of three sections, he gives a brief,
plain language description of what each diagnosis is and helpful
tips he has gleaned from his many years of experience. He then
follows with a list of questions specific to that diagnosis. The
questions are designed to help parents understand the nature of
the problem, determine what the treatment options are, understand
potential complications and know how to monitor and manage the
child’s progress. With plenty of space for notes and reminders,
this book is an empowering tool that would make an especially
thoughtful baby shower gift.
